We knew each other for years. When one of our "Great Generation" departs it's a bit of each of us leaving - another fond reflection and memory of times that were.
May GOD rest your Soul, Jack, and shower His Love upon your Family. Norwood Pirkey

Jean, I have very fond memories of time spent with you, Jack, and your children when I was a part of the Griffin family. Jack was fun to know and I can only imagine how much fun he and Coburn had. Know that you and your family are in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Bishop. Seems like many of our "Oakwood" gang has experienced losses lately. Maude and I had recently seen each other and fondly remembered our childhood, it was great, due to our great parents. He will be missed and I know you have wonderful memories...

Keeping you all in thoughts and prayers. This man touched so many lives of people in our community and now he is home where you will see him again. I am grateful for his support of BSA in Eastern North Carolina and of his generous endowment to many Eagle Scouts including my son Elliott Knoch. May Peace be with you and God be with you always. < Ginna Diehl
