I didn't know John, but I think I'd met some of the Brinkley's in Gates Years ago. My father Herman Brinkley was from there, and so were all of his folks. We lived in Chesapeake Va. Now my wife and I live in Jacksonville Fl. I am also 62. You must have loved Mr. Brinkley. Phone (904)-260-1217
