Johnny Seitz Obituary

Johnny Lee Seitz, born February 8, 1933, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
He served four years in the U. S. Air Force. His love of outdoor sports and his dedication to the Lions Club gave him much satisfaction.
Memorial service, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 8304 Leesville Road, Raleigh.
The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Survivors are wife, Jo Ann; sons, Les, Kyle, Greg and his wife, Susana; daughter, Johnna and her husband, Tommy Simmons; grandsons, Joel Thomas Simmons and Nicholas Keith Seitz; sisters, Gracie Cook and Lucille Bowman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wake Community Lions, 3604 Octavia Street, Raleigh, NC 27606.

Johnny was a friend of mine at West Mont elementary school. He taught me to draw when he was in Pearl Bumgarners room.I was in the forth grade he in seventh. May The LORD Love and keep you forever and ever. Amen

I'm so sorry for surviving family and friends about Johnny's passing, but celebrate for Johnny. I've always thought the world of him. He's the reason I started my transportation career over 33 years ago - and he personally trained me!
