March 7, 1944 - March 9, 2023
Raleigh, North Carolina - Judith Kaye Vick, 79, of Raleigh, NC passed away unexpectantly on March 9, 2023.
Judith was born to Reid and Avis Vick from Spring Hope, NC in 1944. She attended Louisburg Jr. College and worked for CP&L in the Billing Department as an Accountant for many years. Judith was active in her church and community. She attended First Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC where she served in their Japanese Ministry. In past years she served on the Wendy Ridge HOA, the local chapter of the Democratic Party, and enjoyed her Gourmet and Canasta Clubs. Judith was also an avid NC State and Carolina Panthers fan and a member of the North Carolina Symphony.
Judith was predeceased by her parents and four brothers (Randle, Cleon, Furman, & Reginald Vick) and one sister (Linda Nozolino). She is survived by one brother, Gene (Maxine) Vick, Knightdale, NC and four sisters: Joyce Edwards, Hampton, VA, Sandra (HT) Hollowell, Raleigh NC, Dianne (Charles) Williamson, Raleigh, NC, and Paula (Terry) Smith, Ostrander, OH, Sister-in-law Faye (Reginald) Vick, Spring Hope, NC and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 27th, at First Baptist Church, 99 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at the church. Graveside services and interment will follow at 4:00 pm at Peachtree Baptist Church, 3523 N. NC 581, Spring Hope, NC.
Judith will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

I worked with Judy back in the early sixties at CP&L. I was from Spring Hope and then realized i knew some of her family members. Lost touch with Judy over the years but know Gene and Maxine, as they live near me. Also am friends with Sandra through her beauty shop years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sandra and Gene and Maxine.
