O. D., I was so sorry to hear of Linda's death. I didn't know it until last week and we were out of town. I worked with Linda at the Dept. of Public Instruction. She was a very special person. She was always very helpful and friendly. I know you are going to miss her a lot. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.

O.D. - I am sorry about Linda's passing. It is unfortunate that we were not aware of her sickness, as we only learned of it last week. We waited for notice of funeral arrangements, but missed the opportunity to support you and your family during this difficult time. When I was a little girl, Linda was always nice to Glenn and I when we visited with Grandnarnie - 'Miss' to you!! Many times I've thought about the clothes she would give me...I loved them! Through the years, I've heard wonderful stories when Grandnarnie kept you and times when Mama helped Uncle Oliver and Aunt Louise taking you to ball games and such when you were a little boy. I do pray the Lord will give you peace during this time and through His love you will draw closer to Him. Maybe our paths will cross again one day...Glenn and I both have wonderful families and we each have 2 beautiful children. You are in our prayers!
Daniel and Jason - I apologize for not taking time to reach out to all of you and getting to know you more. You both were miracle blessings to Linda when you were born!

I am sorry to hear about your sister. I know that you are going to miss her. At night look up and find a star that is shinning brightly and directly at you. Smile because she is looking down on you. Not gone but a guiding light.

O.D.,Daniel,Jason & family,
My love and prayers are with you all through this sad time. I know Linda will be missed. I remember first meeting her while she shopped at one of her favorite boutiques in Garner. She would bring the boys in after their soccer practice or games so proud! She was a great wife and mother and her legacy will live on! She will be dearly missed. I pray for your pain to be eased as time goes by and know that she is no longer suffering!

We met through our sons and shared many candid conversations in my office while they were at Athens together. As mothers, we shared our worries and our love for them and their well-being. Our love of the water gave us a common bond. Although we grew apart when our sons graduated from high school I am so happy that they have remained so close after all these years. You were, in more ways than you know, like a second mother to Brad, and for that, you will always hold a very special place in my heart. Rest well, Linda. I know that you are now eternally healed.
