Linda King
February 2, 1944 - March 21, 2022
Raleigh, North Carolina - Linda Norman King, 78, of Raleigh, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born on February 2, 1944, in Raleigh, NC, to the late Wilbur Norman and Dorothy Gilbert.
Linda was employed by the State of North Carolina and worked in various capacities for 33 years. She also worked for the NC State Employee's Credit Union for 14 years. Linda was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Carol King Sutton (Ronald); granddaughters, Jordan Sutton Farthing (AJ) and Sydney Sutton; and great-grandsons: Grayson Farthing and Thomas Farthing.
Linda's family would like to thank everyone at SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health for making her final days comfortable and peaceful.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SECU Hospice House or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
