Liz, I was thinking of you yesterday morning and I received the news later that day from a Chapel Hill friend. I wondered why you were on my mind after all those years gone by. You were saying good-bye old friend. We were good friends in high school and you cared about me, you helped me get back to school by taking me on a tour of RTCC and later that night went to a Stevie Ray Vaughan concert in Greensboro. I will remember your smile and the way you would laugh.

Liz, I wish I could have reconnected with you after all these years. I remember even in the fourth grade a person who wasn't afraid to voice her own opinion and always stood her ground. You told me on numerous occasions you thought I looked like Roger Daltrey of The Who-which I always took as a tremendous compliment! We will toast you at the reunion. Rest in peace

Liz, we love you and will miss you! Thanks for all the laughs and smiles along the way. You were a great athlete (remembering dodge-ball and kick-ball at Estes Elementary, Sunset soccer), great artist and musician (remember always asking you to play Bouree on your flute!). You were a great friend. Thanks old friend!
