Melinda, we will always remember your mother, she was always pleasant to talk to and she always walked across the street to talk with Connie on our visits to the beach.

I cannot remember a time when "Miss Lois Jean" and Dr. Blanchard were not in my life! I grew up with them always around - every weekend - the "United States of America" (Mom and Dad, Joe and Pearl, and the Blanchards). And also all the wonderful summers at the beach. Jean was my best friend when we were young before she died. And Butch, Joe, and Melinda were always a part of our family. We have lost a great lady - one of the best. I will get my old photos out today - many of which have the Blanchards and the Wrights together - and savor my memories of wonderful childhood friends. My love goes out to all of you.
