Mantie Lou Rogers, 85, died Friday, May 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday May 26, 2014 at Baptist Grove Church, 6140 Christian Light Road, Fuquay-Varina. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was a faithful member of Baptist Grove Church. She was the former church organist, director of the children's choir as well as the senior choir. She also was the past owner of The Flower Barn Florist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin M. Rogers; brother, O'Gene Cotten; and sister, Cozie Goss.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughter, Annette Rogers of Fuquay-Varina; nephew, Sherrill Goss of Fuquay-Varina; and special friend, Nancy Cabe of Fuquay-Varina.

Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Grove Church.
