Marcus Waller Obituary
March 27, 1929 - April 22, 2021
Chapel Hill, North Carolina - Marcus Bishop Waller, 92, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 22, 2021. He was a bright, energetic, supportive and loving husband, father and grandfather, and his family was greatly enjoying his company in person again after a year of pandemic restrictions. Marcus was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia Fossum Waller and his brother Alexander Ernest Waller. He is survived by his two sisters, four children, and seven grandchildren. We will all miss him deeply.
The family wish to thank the staff of Brookdale Meadowmont Senior Living, where Marcus lived happily during his final years. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the John F. Dashiell Fund for Faculty and Graduate Student Research in the UNC Department of Psychology (https://give.unc.edu/donate?p=main&f=105670), the Union of Concerned Scientists (www.ucsusa.org), or the Southern Poverty Law Center (www.splcenter.org). A small, private family service will be held this summer.
