Margaret Louise Olive

November 29, 1929 - December 3, 2015

Apex

Margaret Louise Olive, age 86, passed into God's hands from natural causes on December 3, 2015 at home, four days following her 86th birthday. She was a loving wife, dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a terrific example of faith, love, and family. Louise Olive was born to William Aldridge Jones and Amaryllis Bowen Abbott Jones on November 29, 1929 in Swift Creek. She had two siblings; Brother, Billy Jones and Sister, Willa Grey Pierce. Louise married Frank Olive in Dillon, South Carolina with a brief honeymoon in Carolina Beach. They returned to a life of dairy farming in Apex, North Carolina, and started a family together. They lived on Humie Olive Road for the rest of their days. Louise was a joyful soul. She had a talent for making everyone around her feel special. She loved to laugh and cook for her loved ones. She often said, 'there's no place like home.' She is survived by her daughters Dianne Ellis and Judy Carcich (Husband Bob); her son Curtis Olive (Wife Helen); her 7 grand children, Stephanie Ellis Freeman (Husband Jerry), Jason Ellis, Kelly Streicher, Tracy Streicher, Kasey Olive, Cole Olive, and Christina Dicka; her great-grandchildren Brianna Freeman and Taylor Freeman. She is predeceased by her wonderful husband of 50 years, Frank Olive; both of her siblings; and her son-in-law, Larry Ellis. Visitation to be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm at Olive Chapel Church. Burial to follow at church cemetery. "For the blessed memory of her will lead you through each day, and the tender thoughts of her are in your heart to stay." – Helen Steiner Rice
