Maria Huetter Obituary

Maria Z. Huetter, 62, passed away October 7th at her home.
Maria was born to Sandor and Margit Loedi of Erlangen, Germany. Surviving are her husband Gerhard Huetter of 35 years; two daughters, Sandra Seagroves and husband Rick, and Annette Huetter; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and nieces and nephews all residing in Europe.
Maria was an avid tennis player, gardener and cook, devoted wife and mother. She lived life to its fullest, always on the go. Born in Budapest, Hungary she moved to Germany at a young age and later in life to Raleigh, NC. She enjoyed living in Raleigh but never forgot the European way of life.
Maria's family would like to thank the staff at Duke Medical Center, Dr. James Parsons, and Hospice of Wake County.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Cremation Society of the Carolinas on 2205 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh. The family will receive friends and family after the service.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Maria's life may want to consider an online contribution to the American Cancer Society or by mail to P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368-2454.
