Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh – Marie Suggs Baker (Medlin), 83, passed away on Wednesday. She was born in Franklin County to the late David and Annie Bell O'Neal Medlin.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Vandora Springs Freewill Baptist Church, 1521 Vandora Springs Road in Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
Marie is survived by her husband, David Earl Baker; son, Ray Suggs (Tammy); grandchildren, Candice Brown (Heath), Megan Suggs, and Christopher Suggs; stepchildren, Billy Baker (Angela) and Tammy Collins (Mike), numerous step-grandchildren; and brother, David Medlin (Janet).

I am so sorry to hear of Marie's passing; she was a beautiful and wonderful lady. She cut my hair for decades, and I was always pleased. She had a passion for what she did. I am sure that Peace has welcomed Marie. I send my Love to David, Ray and all her family. May you find that special peace that passes all human understanding and comfort you in the weeks ahead.
