Durham, North Carolina - Official Announcement from the Wright Family of the Heavenly Transition of The Honorable Bishop Marion E. Wright, Sr. Diocesan Bishop of the 58th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and Founder & Pastor Emeritus of Greater Emmanuel Temple of Grace of Durham, NC.
We mourn the significant loss of our loving father and this legendary man of faith. He had a multi-generational and global impact that transformed his church, the local Raleigh-Durham community, the North Carolina State Council, the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., and all of those who cherished his life, preaching, and example. He loved and led his family and others as a consummate General in the Kingdom of God and now we will engulf ourselves in his many impartations to extend his legacy while ever seeking to please the Lord.
Continuing his legacy are his children, Tuania, Marion Jr., (LaNika), Maurice, Adrian (Wilesha) and grandchildren, Adriana, Marion III, Payton and Monique.

Bishop Marion Wright was my 1st. spiritual leader when I moved from Charlotte to Raleigh. He welcomed me with open arms and as did his church members. First lady and pastor were examples as to how to walk holy. I will always love and respect him for his kindness. My sincere condolences to the family we will see him again by and bye.
