Somehow the holidays make it even more difficult If that's possible, when you think of a loved one
you have lost. It's especially important to be remembered. We think mark always will be. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

This is really weird! For some odd reason I thought of Mark who had a locker next to mine at Durham High School. Looked him up on Facebook and somehow his obituary came up. Only GOD could have revealed this to me in this way! My sincere condolences to his family! I ALWAYS thought he was soooo handsome.....those starched shirts! I was always nervous if he came to his locker at the same time I was at mine. I see he went on to do amazing things! I am a widow myself now so heartache is not new to me. In fact quite the opposite! It´s sad after 50 years here we are. As I said before, my heart goes out to ALL his family! And too, after all these years the Lord revealed this to me! It´s just AMAZING how BIG our God is!

I remember Mark from back in the sixties. My sister Lesley (who left us in 2017) was a classmate of his and my memories include my family going to Mark's Bar Mitzvah and at least one occasion of him pinning a corsage for some Prom. I also used to see him infrequently at the YMCA on Trinity.
Farewell, Mark, I will always cherish your memory...

We are deeply saddened by Mark's passing. He truly was a great guy and friend. We enjoyed some very special times together over the years, especially at Chapel Hill Country Club playing the game he so loved.
To the Margolis family, we extend our deepest condolences and prayers.

So sad that DHS class of 1970 has lost a great classmate and friend. Mark "Peanut" was beloved by all. Here he is at our 50th reunion, blowing a kiss! Sleep well, sweet Prince.
