Matthew Wester Obituary
Matthew Jordan "Matt" Wester, 21, beloved father, son, brother and grandson, of 353 Rawls Club Rd, died Thursday.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at New Hope Presbyterian Church, Willow Spring.
Surviving: son, Chase David VonDerGathen, of Fuquay-Varina; daughter, Shanna Jordan Wester, of, Fuquay-Varina; the mother of his children, Darcy VonDerGathen, of Fuquay-Varina; parents, Jessie and Cindy Adams Wester, of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Zachary Scott Wester, of Fuquay-Varina; paternal grandmother, Lois Wester Smith, of Fuquay-Varina; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Adams, III, of Willow Spring; uncles, Quincy Adams, of Willow Spring, and George Adams, of Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jessie E. "Jeff" Wester, Sr.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to any branch of First Citizens Bank for the benefit of his children.

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved son Matt. There are no words that can adequately express what a profound loss it is to lose a child. We too have suffered this devastating loss. We belong to a volunteer support group that is comprised solely of bereaved parents and want to reach out to you by letting you know about our group. We meet twice a month in Raleigh to share and give support. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you. And please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult and sad time.
