Ginger is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Robin Capra of Underwood, Washington; cousins: Beverly Shavlik, Sammy Ennis, Peggy Hobson, and Beth Williams; additional extended family: Debra Martin and Wendy Badgett, all of the Raleigh, North Carolina area; half sisters Linda Meyer of Jacksonville, Florida, and Julie Gatewood of Bradenton, Florida; and dearest friends Pam and Gerry Cohen of Raleigh, who deserve special recognition. Over the years, she had too many beloved cats to mention. She was preceded in death by; Jim Capra Sr. (died August 2022), Clifford Schmid, Arthur Brown (died May 2004), both parents.
