Michael Pearce Obituary

SEPTEMBER 19, 1952 - AUGUST 1, 2008
Michael Henry Pearce, 55, of Louisburg, died Friday morning surrounded by his loving family. Mike was a son of Urban Lynn and Jane Pearce and was a native of Franklin County and an Army Veteran.
Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Don McGinnis and Rev. Allen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Lisa P. Daley; brothers and sister in-law, Jeffrey and Cindy Pearce, Brantley Pearce, all of Louisburg; niece, Amy Wood; nephew, Joshua Daley; great nieces, McKayla and Madeline Wood; step nephew, Brandon Allen and wife, Melanie; step great-nieces, Alexus and Scarlet Allen.
The family will receive friends 7:00-8:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg and other times at the home.

My thoughts & prayers are with each of Mike's family members & friends. Mike was known and loved throughout the county. He was such a stong presence on Bickett Blvd for so many years and everyone will miss his wave and geniune friendship, I know I will.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Pearce Family during this sad loss. I have known Mike for many years. He was a dear friend. He was the greatest friend anyone could have ask for. He will be truely missed by me and many more. God Bless the entire Pearce Family.
