Mildred Sweemer Obituary

Mildred Alice Sweemer, 85, of Cary, went to be with her Lord on Thursday evening October6, 2005.
Just eight days after entering Parkway Retirement Home, the Lord chose that time to take her to be with Himself. Mildred was born in Chicago on November 18, 1919 to William Lent and Margaretta Thomas Lent.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at North Ridge Bible Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the serviceat the church. Burial will take place at Montlawn Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. following the service.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Julia and brother, William.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, John; son, John Sweemer, Jr. of Cary; two daughters, Susan Armstrong of Montgomery, Alabama and Melodee Bartel of Overland Park, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Nancy Sweemer of Huntersville, N.C., Jeff Sweemer of Cary, Brittny Hemphill of Birmingham, Alabama, Kyle Armstrong of Nashville, Tennessee, Jennifer Armstrong of Auburn, Alabama, Kevin Bartel of Los Angeles, CA, Drew Bartel incollege at Pittsburg, Kansas and Haley Bartel of Overland Park, Kansas.
