Nina Gregg Obituary
She was born to George W. and Nina Ramsay Hall in 1918 and lived in Hickory until moving to Newton in 1991.
She was predeceased by her loving husband S. Guy Gregg in 2007.
She is survived by one sister, Ann H. Hines, of Isle of Palms, SC, and Asheville, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nina (and Joe) Bush of Columbia, SC, and Frances (and Bob) King of Cary, NC; five grandchildren: Linda B. (and Erik) Rolf of Mendota, VA; Laurie King of Raleigh, NC; Ellen C. Bush of Durham, NC; David (and Kay) King of Hope Mills , NC; and J. Andrew Bush of Baltimore, MD; and nine great-grandchildren: Emma, Thomas, Margaret, Kristi, Monica, Johannes, Lida, William, and Jakob. She was predeceased by sisters Connie H. Abernethy and Mary H. Archer, brothers William R. Hall and George W. Hall Jr., and half-sister Allie H. McKennon.
Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory on Monday, March 15.
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church in Hickory. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Memorials may be made to Grandfather Home for Children, P.O. Box 98, Banner Elk, NC 28604.
