Ophelia Dunn Obituary

Mrs. Ophelia Raynor Dunn, 94, died at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center, Sunday, February 4, 2007.
A graveside service will be held, Tuesday February 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Reedy Prong Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Louie Andrews officiating.
Born on March 26, 1912 in Johnston County, Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Kenny Richard and Norma Young Raynor. She was a member of the Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church since 1944 and had for a number of years worked with the children in the children's department. She was given an honorary life membership by the women of the church. She was the widow of Joseph a. Dunn of Clinton.
She is survived by a daughter, Annie Lee McCall of Greensboro; son, Newell West Dunn and wife Barbara of Charlotte; grandchildren, Beth Anne McCall of Pleasant Garden, NC, Dale McCall Pearce and husband, David of Zebulon, Todd Ernest McCall of Greensboro, Natalie Dunn Fields and husband, William, Richard Dunn and wife, Nicole, Betsy Ann Dunn and Jennifer Marie Dunn all of Charlotte; five great-grandsons and one great- granddaughter; one sister, Lois Raynor Millwood and husband, Erwin of Garner; and several beloved nieces; and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 church Street, Clinton, NC 28328.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2007 at Royal Hall Funeral Home in Clinton.
