Peggy Correll Obituary

Peggy Frankie Correll, 79, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away peacefully late Wednesday June 23, 2010 in the Hock Family Pavilion of Duke Hospice.
She was born July 17, 1930 in Roanoke, VA. where she lived for 60 years before moving to Ellenton, FL and Fuquay-Varina, NC four years ago.
She was the daughter of the late Angelo M. and Elizabeth W. Frankie. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Thurman A. (Pinky) Correll; children, Peggy E. Owens and husband, Keith of Roanoke, VA, Michael A.
Correll and wife, Nancy of Holly Springs, Stephen L. Correll and dog Princess of Angier; grandchildren, Justin A. Owens and wife Brittany of Roanoke, Jeremy Jackson of Sanford, Tiffany Estes and husband, Greg of Burnsville, and Jennifer Jackson of Sanford; three great grandchildren.
Numerous in-laws and spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors remember her as someone always smiling and taking care of them. She will be missed by all.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 3217 Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC on Monday June 28, 2010 at 1100 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
