Rachel Snyder Obituary

Mrs. Rachel Speight Snyder, 70, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2007 after a period on declining health.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Snyder, daughter of the late J. Brantley and Carrie Gardner Speight, was a Pitt County native and graduate of both the University of NC at Chapel Hill and Duke University. She worked as a Physical Therapist prior to joining her family's business at Speight Seed Farms, Inc. where she served as president until her death.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Snyder in 1992.
She is survived by her aunt, Louise Tripp of Ayden and special family friend, J. Milton Beaman of Snow Hill.
The family will received friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home and Crematory.
