I loved Rebecca with my whole heart! She was a remarkable woman whom I considered my best friend. Her service to the IFC was a tremendous gift, and the fact that we now have the new Community House in Chapel Hill is in large part because of her! I miss her terribly but pray that she is now helping others in heaven! God loves you, Rebecca, and I will always love you too. Carol Ross

Rebecca helped me for over five years during the most painful time in my life, as I fought money and power for my kids. She even went to court with me at the end of the final custody hearing. An amazing woman with endless energy yo do the right thing.

Rebecca was an extraordinary woman. I am honored to have known her and met her. Her work to advocate for people's lives less fortunate and support and enrich people around her. She gave me my first job while here in the US. She also allowed me to present my thesis work to her board and staff. I am truly honored to have met some a wonderful kind and generous person. May she rest in peace. With heart and appreciation for all she done for our world. Kiran.

Rebecca has been my friend for over 20 years and the memories are innumerable. She influenced so many lives and made so many people better. Every time we talked or communicated, she made me laugh and we all know that laughter is the best medicine. She was called a "medical miracle" because of the way she initially responded to treatment. To me, she is/was just plain and simple a miracle. There are not many people in the world like Rebecca who walk their talk completely. Her activism and support of people who need help and her ministry and her profession....I could go on and on with all she's done but just the fact that she touched my heart (among the many) is the memory I will always have. A piece of my heart and soul has moved on with her. Rest in peace, you beautiful woman.
