Richard Druckenbrod Obituary

Richard William Druckenbrod, Pharm. D., 53, of Durham, NC died November 26, 2008 at his Durham home.
A native of Canton, OH, Richard was born November 9, 1955 to Doretha and the late Donald Druckenbrod.
Richard is survived by his wife of 26 years, Clarine and their daughters, Amelia and Cari, all of Durham. He is also survived by his mother; brothers, David, Keith and wife, Roseanne, all living in Florida; sister, Marsha Glassner and husband, Craig, and their two children, Margaret and Cullin, of California; sister-in-law, Anne Marie Dubnansky and husband, Wayne, and their two children, Jean Marie and Claire, of Durham.
He graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1978 and in 1989 from the University of Cincinnati with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. He was a certified Geriatric Pharmacy specialist and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
Richard had a successful career including faculty appointments at The University of Pittsburg and Campbell University Schools of Pharmacy. Since 2002 he was a Scientific Affairs Liaison for Ortho- McNeil, Janssen.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. next Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Blacknall Presbyterian Church, Perry Street in Durham.
