Richard Otto Michal, 84, died unexpectedly but peaceably on October 21, 2015. His beloved wife of 56 years, Carolyn, preceded him in passage to glory. He is survived by: sons, Richard (Betty), Kenneth (Tammy), Douglas (Ellen); brother, Robert (Louise), 6 granddaughters; 9 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew.
A memorial service will be held November 14, 2015 at 10:30 am in Rocky Mount at the Gateway Convention Center. Arrangements by National Cremation Service in Raleigh.
