It was Dick Sankey who encouraged me while in my twenties to join Pathway's newly-formed board of trustees. I shared with him that I didn't feel equipped to do so. Dick said nonsense. This began my volunteer work in the non-profit social services world that has given me so much fulfillment. Thank you Dick. I also watched him with amazement run his new business single-handedly in the 70s. Dick was the genuine entrepreneur. Dick impacted so many lives in such positive ways. Dick's life work will live on. My sympathy to Jim and his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dick's passing. He was a great man. Even in retirement, Dick would come to the office, and would always take the time to stop by and chat, and ask how you were doing. He was just a class act, and a pleasure to know.
