Ronald Doman Obituary

Ronald Edward Doman
RALEIGH
Ronald Edward Doman, 64, passed away on Saturday August 31, 2013 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. He was born in Winchester Virginia, the son of Christina Riley Doman and the late James Doman.
Ron's love of people meant that he was a stranger to no one. As an avid outdoorsman his path led him to a career with the Department of Parks and Recreation before eventually moving into landscaping as a superintendent with Ecoscape Solutions. Ron's passions after his love of family were sports, racing, and classic cars.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon September 07, 2013 at Falls Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Terry Ashe officiating. Burial will follow in the Falls Community Cemetery.
Ron is survived by his wife, Teresa Leonard Doman; daughter, Kristi Harp and husband, Wayne, of Franklinton; son, Adam Doman and wife, Kimberly, of Hurdle Mills; his mother, Christina Doman of Romney WV; brother, Mike Doman of Romney WV; nephew, Shannon Doman of Romney WV; four grandchildren, Travis, Morgan, and Brooke Harp, and Chelsea Doman.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Falls Baptist Church, 9700 Fonville Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587 or to the Falls Community Cemetery Fund.

I am so sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing . I coached youth sports, particulary football with him many years ago in Romney. He was always willing to give so much extra of his time to the kids in the community and worked hard to improve the sporting and recreational opportunities for everyone. My condolences to Kristi and Adam on the loss of a wonderful father.

Teresa, Mike and I always enjoyed Ron's visits and each time we look at our front yard we'll think of him. He was such a nice friend and a great neighbor ~ all of us who knew him were very fortunate. Our thoughts are with you.

Teresa, I am so very sorry to hear about Ron. I thought the world of him!

Many times I would see his truck go by the house and I would throw my hand up and wave, and he'd blow his horn. Sometimes I would not see him, if I was outside and I'd hear a horn blow, and sure enough, it would be Ron driving by our house. Ron was so full of life, and just a great guy and he will be missed.

I am so glad you're our neighbor. Please know, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
