Ronald L. Duppstadt

Ronald Lynn Duppstadt, age 51, died on Friday, February 18, 2005. A funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 402 N. Main Street, Fuquay-Varina on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Duppstadt was a native of Pennsylvania and a long time resident of North Carolina. He was a Financial Planner with Capital Bank Financial Services and had a long career in the Financial Industry including advisory positions with PNC and BB&T. Mr. Duppstadt was a very active member at First United Methodist Church and loved working with the youth of the church. He was a member of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce and produced a weekly financial column published in the Fuquay-Varina Independent. Mr. Duppstadt had an avid love for gourmet cooking and loved sharing recipes with everyone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Mary Buff Edwards Duppstadt; daughter, Lauren Jessica; and son, Kyle Edward of the home; proud and loving mother, Luella Duppstadt of Bucks town, Pennsylvania; caring and devoted father-in-law, Edward F. Edwards of Charlotte; sister, Jean Trella of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; brother, Larry Duppstadt and wife, Paulette of Gaithersburg, Maryland; brother, Barry Duppstadt and wife, Kathy of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Ellen Brimley Edwards of Charlotte; brother- in-law, Bill Edwards and wife Anne, of Universal City, Texas; brother-in- law, Kevin (Boots) Edwards. He is also survived by 10 nieces and five nephews.
Mr. Duppstadt was predeceased by his father, Virgil Duppstadt, brother, Jim Duppstadt and mother- in-law, Mary Ellen Edwards.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 21, 2005 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N. Ennis Street, Fuquay- Varina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in support of The Youth Programs.
