Mr. Ronnie Earl Newton, 66, of Raleigh passed on July 26, 2016 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Ronnie is a former employee at Rex Hospital where he served as a lab technician for over 20 years. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Tilley (David) of Wake Forest; three nieces; one nephew; six great-nieces and three great-nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Montlawn Funeral Home 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. A graveside service will follow at 12 Noon at the Montlawn Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.montlawn.com

I was so sorry to hear of Ronnie's death. I worked with him at Rex. He was always willing to help and was such a knowledgeable person to work alongside.
