Sarah Autry Obituary

Mrs. Sarah Tart Autry, 71, of 3906 Vesta Drive, Raleigh, formerly of Dunn, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at Golden Years Nursing Home. Mrs. Autry was born in Cumberland County on March 30, 1938 the daughter of the late Mack and Nellie Tart and is preceded in death by a son, Johnny Autry, three brothers, Rayvon Tart, Sherwood Tart, and Leon Tart and a sister, Willa Mae Tart. She was a 1956 graduate of Erwin High School. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cromartie-Miller and Lee Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jerome Pope and Rev. Tom Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Primitive Baptist church cemetery. Surviving: son, Allen Autry of Nashville, NC; a sister, Barbara Ann Tart of Dunn; grandchild, Barbara Jean Esparza and husband, Cipriano of Willow Spring; two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jonathan Esparza. The family will receive friends, Tuesday evening, November 24, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cromartie Miller and Lee Funeral Home in Dunn. Condolences may be made to www.cromartiemillerandlee.com

I just got Allen's dad out of the hospital last night. I know Robert would have wanted to go, but he is in no shape right now. I will get in touch with Allen. Barbara our thoughts and prayers are with you.
