Shirley Blaisdell Obituary
RALEIGH
Shirley M. Blaisdell passed away peacefully on March 1, 2014 in Raleigh, N.C. She was born on April 1, 1927 in Syracuse N.Y. and was preceded in death by her husband Gregory D. Blaisdell after 44 years of marriage. Mrs. Blaisdell was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed dancing, singing, traveling and decorating her home. She is survived by her sons Michael Blaisdell (Barbara), Daniel Blaisdell (Eileen) of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren Daniel Blaisdell II (Leigh) of Charlotte, NC, Matthew Blaisdell (Jennifer) of Wendell, NC; great-grandchild Daniel Blaisdell III; step grandchildren David Speranza of Seattle, WA; M. Richard Speranza (Melissa) of Wake Forest, NC and step great-grandchildren Robyn and Benjamin Speranza.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association East N.C. at http://www.alz.org/nc/in_my_community_donate.asp or Hospice of Wake County at https://apps.hospiceofwake.org/donate.php?mode=publicview .
