Susan Maholick Obituary

Susan Gail Maholick

March 1, 1940 - November 1, 2024

Raleigh, North Carolina - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Gail Maholick, who sadly passed away at 84, after a beautifully lived life. As a mother, teacher, and friend, she was there when she was needed the most, offering support, wisdom, and caring in abundance. Full of love and resilience, she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Walter Maholick, and leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Schafer and her husband David Altman, as well as her son Paul Maholick and his wife Deb Fleisig.

A celebration of the life she shared was held at the Brown Wynne of Cary funeral home on Thursday, November 7th. The family received friends before the funeral service that was held at 2 PM in the Brown Wynne Chapel. Burial followed at Raleigh Memorial Park where she now rest in peace with her husband, Andrew. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of ones choice. Brown Wynne of Cary is honored to serve the Maholick family, www.brownwynnecary.com.
