Got chance to play basketball against Tonnie, she was the only girl on the court , but she was better than most of us. Probably better than most of us off the court too. Always had a smile and was glad to see her World is a better place with people like Tonnie in it, that's why we miss them so when the Lord decides to take them from us. He gave her to us long enough to give us an example of how to treat people with respect and Love.

Dear Family of Tonnie,

Had the pleasure of knowing Tonnie for many years. She could hit the softball about as far as anyone I'd ever seen on the old John A. Wilkinson softball field.
Always took time to ask about my family even when she was so sick.
She will be missed by all that knew her. Prayers to her family and friends.
She is out of pain and no longer suffering.

Rest peacefully, my sweet friend. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to know you, as I am a better person for it. You were wise for your years, and your goodness and kindness will be your legacy. I'm going to miss our talks and the sage advice that you would impart, only when asked to. I'm sad to have lost your presence...just knowing you were there was something I took for granted. I'm sorry you had to suffer, and I'm at peace knowing that is no longer your situation. You're at rest, and although that is comforting to a degree, my heart hurts for those that you left behind. We love you and will see you again. Sherry and Mesha, we love you, as well, and we are here if you need us.
