Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Lincolnville AME Church, 6400 Chapel Hill Rd., Raleigh, NC.
Visitation: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the church.
Interment: 10:00 AM, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC.
Survivors: Wife, Barbara Hooker of the home; Daughter, Theresa Evans of NJ; Sisters, Pamela Hooker & Faye Burt both of Raleigh, NC, Mary Watkins of Knightdale, NC; Brothers, Elder Donald Hooker & Melvin Hooker of Raleigh, NC; 1 Grandchild; 1 Great-grandchild; Goddaughter, Star Battle of Raleigh, NC.

Those of us at Duncan Parnell that knew Wilbert are sadden to hear of his passing. Most us, myself included, that knew him were out of town for the holiday and unable to make it to the funeral. Please know our hearts are with you at this time.

My prayers and condolences are with the family at this time. I saw a tower of strength in Brother Hooker as he stay on the battlefield for the Lord. Four weeks ago he was the speaker for our Annual Lay Day at St. Stephen AME, Liberty, NC. The congregation was always very receptive of his coming to us. God continue to keep you in the days ahead.
