Will McHenry Obituary

Will McHenry

Chapel Hill

Will McHenry, 71, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday June 11, 2016.

He was born on August 16, 1944 in New Brighton, PA, son of Edith (Miller) McHenry and the late Maurice W. McHenry. Will was a US Air Force veteran, retired as a consultant in the healthcare field, devoted husband, and a wonderful father. He was known for his spirited sense of humor, kind nature and love of dogs. The family takes comfort in knowing that Katie, his beloved Springer Spaniel, was there to greet him at the Rainbow Bridge.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Becky; his two sons, Chuck McHenry of Fayetteville and Troy McHenry of Durham; his two grandsons, Grant and Jack McHenry; his mother Edith McHenry, of Weirton, WV; his sister Lourine Fadeley of Charlotte, NC; his brothers, Lester and Jim McHenry of Weirton, WV; and a large extended family and friends who loved him.

Family & friends will honor and remember Will with a private Celebration of Life gathering.
