William Mann Obituary
William J. Mann, 62, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007. William worked for the City of Raleigh as a backhoe operator.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Bryan-Lee Funeral chapel, Garner. The Family will receive friends and relatives from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include: his wife, Luna Mann; daughters, Kathy Valdez and husband, John, Sandra Parrish and husband, Robert; sons, Mark Parrish and wife, Kathy, David Sledge and wife, Nellie Joe; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

I worked with Joe a many years with the City of Raleigh, on so very cold nights. I hate I did not hear that he had passed until Friday night. Please forgive me for not showing up to pay my respects. He was a good man and will be missed.

I worked with Joe for a long time in Public Utlities and he was hard worker and a dedicated employee. He was also a good friend that will surely be missed.
