Mr. Pittman was a great lawyer and great mentor. I appreciate the time he took to answer my questions and the help he gave me to bring along my law practice in its early days. I will miss him and feel certain I speak for the entire Wake County Bar on that point.

Mrs. Pittman, My heartfelt appreciation goes out to you and your family for sharing Mr. Pittman with all of us throughout the years. He was a great mentor and friend and I will always cherish the lessons he taught me and the friendship and fatherly advice that he gave me while I worked under him at Fidelity. Not only did he teach, he helped you enjoy what you did, because he enjoyed what he did and he cared. Mr. Pittman will be greatly and deeply missed. Our prayers are with you.
