Frank, also known as grandpa to many, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2016 with family by his side. Frank was born January 3, 1928 to Sabino and Frances Buso. In 1942 he graduated from Santa Barbara High School. 1951 was a very special year for him. He joined the Army and married the love of his life, Mary Ann Mascarenas.
He served in the Korean War where he was on the front lines and then became a barber to the General. After the war he came home and started his career in roofing. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his four children, Sandy Robles (Fred), Ray Buso (Shannon), Terry Rodriguez, and Trisha Jimenez (Ray), his 11 grandchildren, Angie, Lieanne, Troy, Nicole, Melina, Gilbert,Victor, Raymond, Anthony, Jessica Raymond and his six great-grandchildren Gabriel, Jacob, Lianna, Marissa, Malia and Mia. His brother Joseph Buso (Mary) as well as extended family and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann, his parents Sabino and Frances and his sister Dolores De La Torre.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Welch-Ryce-Haider Goleta Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at San Roque Church.

To the Buso Family, I am truly sorry for your loss of your dad. I remember him fondly from all the years I spent time at your house. Trisha... My heart breaks for you, I too lost my dad earlier this year and know how hard this loss is for you.
