70, of Hot Springs Village, said his final goodbyes December 5, 2012. Born April 29, 1942 in Glendale, California, he was raised in Santa Barbara, California by his mother, Vera Stevens Wetherbee and his adopted father, Clifford A. Wetherbee, who preceded him in death.
Loving family remembering him include his wife of 47 years, Joy L. Kelley Wetherbee; brother, Craig A. Wetherbee and wife, Joyce of California; sons, Jeff and his wife, Vicki and Dean and his wife, Shannon; and the pride and joy of his life, grandchildren, Gloria and Zachary.
Keith served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He then worked at Motorola in Fort Worth, Texas for 18 years. Keith and Joy moved to Hot Springs Village in 1999, where they both volunteered at Christ of the Hills UMC and National Camps for the Blind. Keith was a man of strong and honest opinions and a firm believer who practiced his faith. He had a great sense of humor and he loved and treasured his family and friends. Keith will also be remembered as an avid golfer, world traveler and woodworker.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Christ of
the Hills United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Camps for
the Blind or The Arkansas Rice Depot.
