Adelaide Passaro Obituary
Adelaide "Addie" Ann Passaro (Lollie), 89, of Deltona, Florida, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 12. She was born in Danbury, on July 21, 1935, to the late Luigi and Rose (Gabrielle) Lollie.
She was raised in Danbury, attended Danbury schools, and was a member of the Danbury Drum Corps.
Adelaide met her sweetheart, Peter Passaro, and they were married in 1954. They traveled the world with their five children, until Peter retired from the Air Force in 1970. After living in Germany, Japan, and many locations in the U.S., they settled in Danbury, near family and friends. Addie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed family holidays, gatherings, and outings. She enjoyed watching softball games and even had a team named after her. The Danbury Sunday Softball League also presented her with the very first "Fan of the Year" award. After many years in Danbury, the couple retired to Florida.
Adelaide is survived by her children, Michael Passaro, Steven Passaro (Veronica), Mark Passaro, Kristin Castellano (Rocco), and Kelly Burrow (Richard). Her grandchildren, Emily (James), Sarah, Peter, Allyson, Jason, Megan, Daniel, and great-grandchildren, Liam and Charlotte. She is also survived by sister, Marianne Kozak, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Peter Passaro, as well as her brothers, Francis Lollie, Joseph Lollie, Robert Lollie, Louis Lollie, and her grandson, Stephen Matthew Passaro.
She is loved and will be greatly missed.
Deltona Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens in Orange City, Florida, are handling the arrangements.

Lori and I are so very sorry to hear about your Mom Passing. As a kid growing up in the Lollie family I can remember many times when your Mom & Dad invited me into their home during summer months to play with the boys, Delaware, Maine, Route 7 in Danbury etc. Hold onto all the good times you had!
