Art was one of the finest teachers that ever taught at Ridgefield High School. He knew and cared for everyone of his students and knew how to make them productive. His students always looked forward going to his classes.
I worked with Art when he took his high school students to work with fifth graders, when he ran a physics Olympics for the staff, when I needed creative ideas for special programs and when he came to WCSU to teach biology. Art was always upbeat, kindly, and willing to help out anyone at anytime. Art was a very special person. Darla Shaw

There was no sweeter man on earth than Art. An inspiration and comfort to all that met him. He will be dearly missed but I know we´ll feel his presence and find peace knowing he is reunited with the love of his life, Mary Alice. Sending love to all who are missing him. I hope you´ll find peace in happy memories.
