Brian Maurice O'Connell

Brian Maurice O'Connell Brian Maurice O'Connell, age 53, a resident of Wilton, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Queens, NY on August 1, 1954, a son of Maurice O'Connell of Gulfport, FL and the late Mary Dowling O'Connell. Brian received degrees from Hofstra University and the University of Southern California. He served as a Ranger in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He was an entrepreneur, author and CEO of The O'Connell Group, Inc. Brian was a successful and active member of the Wilton Community. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving children, Michael, Kelly and Kaitlin; and was a beloved brother of John O'Connell of Orange County, N.Y., Maryellen Collins of Hicksville, N.Y., and Theresa Resnick of Syosset, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews also survive him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road (Route 7) , Wilton. The Rev. Michael C. Palmer, Pastor, will officiate. The interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Wilton.
