Christopher Gasse

Christopher Gasse Christopher Gasse, Sr., age 46 of Wolcott, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at his home. He was the loving husband of Alexandra "Sandy" (Deihle) Gasse. Chris was born April 30, 1962 in Lewiston, NY, son of the late Gary F. and Marianne Gasse. He attained a degree of perfection as a culinary chef and was employed at the Watertown Golf Club. He also worked as a culinary chef for the Waccabuc Country Club in Waccabuc, N.Y., The Mansion Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., and the Morefar Golf Club in Brewster, N.Y. Chris enjoyed golfing, cooking and motorcycling. He was devoted to his family and his recently deceased parents. Besides his wife of 19 years, he is survived by his loving children, Gary J., Grant, Christopher, Jr., Elisabeth, Bernadette, and Bridget and a new baby due in the Fall; his sister, Debbie Costello of Lewiston, N.Y.; his brothers, Garth Gasse of Hesperia, Va. and Greg Gasse of Florida; several aunts; uncles; three nephews; and four nieces. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Rd., Brookfield. Burial will follow in Lewiston, N.Y., September 4.
