Cristina Tolentino Obituary
Cristina Tolentino, aged 71, died peacefully on July 6, 2023 after a chronic illness. She was born on December 7, 1951 in Manila, Philippines, daughter of the late Andres and Dr. Visitacion (Mangibin) Tolentino.
A registered nurse, she worked and traveled the east coast with her van and TV before settling in Florida overlooking the beach. She enjoyed many years visiting and hosting friends and family who lived locally and abroad. Cristina is survived by her brother Ernesto; brother-in-law Antonio, sisters-in-law Corazon, Emma, and Felicidad; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth and brothers Benjamin and Eduardo.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, 117 South Street, Danbury, CT 06810. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3.00 p.m. A cremation ceremony will be held privately by the family. I had the pleasure and honor to have known Cristina even for a short time. I worked in the pre- operative area at Broward Health where she also worked at the Recovery Room. She was very humble, pleasant and easy to get along with. She was very professional, and an efficient, compassionate nurse. She will truly be missed. May our good Lord welcome you in His Kingdom of Heaven.

I worked with Cristina for several years in PACU. She was a kind hearted person and always willing to help others. She will surely be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

I worked with Christina in the PACU at Broward General Medical Center. As is common with Filipino nurses they are compassionate, show generosity and love to feed people. Christina made wonderful carrot cake.
