Edith M. Jamroga

Edith M. Jamroga Edith M. Jamroga, age 72, a resident of Ridgefield since 1969 and a former resident of Vista, NY, died on Saturday January 23, at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield. She was the wife of Edward M. Jamroga, Jr. Mrs. Jamroga was born in Ridgefield on December 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Elbert and Mary Gay Broadhurst. She attended Ridgefield Schools and since 1959, has been a very active member of Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church in Vista. In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, Mark L. Schutte of Danbury, Charles A. Schutte, Jr. of Ridgefield, Kyle W. McDarren Schutte of Southbury, and Keith A. Schutte of New Canaan; her daughter, Wanda Schutte Leavy of Ridgefield; one brother, David Broadhurst of Ridgefield; three sisters, Dorothy Enquist of Ridgefield, Nora Potenziani and Janet Ossendryver, both of Florida; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her first husband, Charles A. Schutte, Sr. and a sister, Mary Alice Mead. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, at 11a.m. in Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church located on the corner of Route 123 (Smith Ridge Road) and Shady Lane in Vista. The interment will follow in the family plot in Bald Hill Cemetery, Wilton. Friends may call at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown on Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edith M.
