Elina Baldaserini Obituary
On Friday, September 24, 2010, Elina Cappelloni Baldaserini passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loving family. She was the widow of Primo Baldaserini. 	 Born July 27, 1913 in New Haven, Elina was the oldest of five daughters born to the late Alfredo and Santina Torcellini Cappelloni. 	 On August 24, 1940, she married Primo Baldaserini, moved to Ridgefield and raised her family. Elina was a member of Saint Mary Church. Her work life was comprised of many years as a noted seamstress and twenty-eight years at the Barden Corporation prior to her retirement. 	 Elina was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and George Besse and her son, Jack Baldaserini of Ridge-field, and his devoted friend, Joan Florczak of Easton. She will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Debbie and Scott Perry of Rowley, Mass., Lisa and Anthony Cascone of Sandy Hook, Dianne and Peter Barone of Hamden, John Baldaserini of Norwalk, and Susan Baldaserini of Brooklyn, N.Y. Additionally, Elina was blessed with five great-grand-sons, Michael, Eric and Kyle Cascone and Daniel and Christopher Perry. She is survived by three sisters, Alda Carboni of Ridgefield, Irma Biancur of Orange, Celeste Stocking of Yarmouthport, Mass.; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Amelia Silvestrini. 	 The family will receive friends at the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, CT Sunday, September 26th from 4 to 7 p.m. 	 A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 27th at 10:15 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridge-field.
