Eric Quist Obituary

Eric Gene Quist
October 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Gene Quist, on October 23, 2024 at his home in Pine, Arizona.
Eric was born on March 22, 1934, to parents Carl and Olga Quist of Washington, Connecticut. He was the youngest of 12 children. Eric enlisted in the US Air Force, served in the Korean War, and graduated from Western Connecticut State University. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sara Squire Quist, and is survived by his two daughters, Leslie Fox of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, and Amy Carolyn Morway of San Diego, California.
Eric enjoyed a 27-year career at Branson Ultrasonics in Danbury, CT, rising to Vice President of Research & Development. In 1994, Eric retired from Branson and relocated to Arizona, where he was active in several Christian churches. Eric was an avid sports fan who loved the solitude of the mountains, where he enjoyed his final years.
