Family and Friends of Dr. Roman,
I received my BA in history from WCSU in 1997, and Dr. Roman touched me with his knowledge of history, and his personal stories from his experiences. At first, I was intimidated by him, as is the case with many professors when we're young; however, one meeting in his office changed that. I brought a photo of my late father at the time, who was one of the few survivors of the USS Franklin. We both had tears in our eyes as we told of our memories, me of my late father, and he of his family. May God bless ALL of you, my prayers are with you; and i'm sorry for your loss of a great man.
