I was a Little Singer of Norwalk from 1970-1974 Father Medynski was a phenomenon. He corralled us boys and made fine art,he put his heart and soul into that task. I have endless memories of that time in my life. His love of Mozart was incredible.I visited him a few times in Stamford where he lived in his last years, sadly I didnt find out about his passing until months later, curiously, I just discovered this, and I had to add to it. Boy do I remember Oliver.I loved that musical as much as he did,but Im a Dickens fan too.
Father Francis Medynski is a wonderful person.I will always cherish my memories of him and that choir.

I was blessed to have know Fr. Frank, as he loved to be called. As his Director of Religious Education for nine years, we enjoyed afternoon conversations in theology, philosophy, local history, you name it! He was wise, clever and had a wonderful sense of humor.
My favorite picture of him is riding on his lawn mower on the grounds of St. Elizabeth Seton. This was his special prayer time. He loved "his" parish and considered each person his own family member. He was a good man and a good priest and I will cherish my memories of him.
Well, Fr. Frank, I wish you bon voyage; enjoy that special place that God has prepared just for you who loved him.

We sang Oliver an new braodway show yet you were Oliver from your orphanage upbringing and you overcame that and rose up froma humble beginning to become one of the finest choir dirctors, pianist , and priest there is. I was very happy to have seen you as an adult as well but the Little Singers of Norwalk experiences will always be engraved on my memory.

One of the finest men I've ever known - he had such an influence on me growing up. A humble man, he has left his mark in Norwalk and in Ridgefield.
